An introduction

This 'column' was previously published as a blog on Livejournal, entitled The Drivel. However I was able to obtain an account here at Blogger that has my preferred title of Ross's Rant etc. So here it lives from now on.

I should note that some of the articles I have copied over are rather dated by now, however I liked them so here dey is.
